Author Guidelines

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SUBMISSION

  1. The article material should be presented according to the editorial template (cf. ANNEX).
  2. Specifying the ORCID identifier for article authors is mandatory.
  3. The annotation to the article should be prepared in accordance with the requirements of the journal (see section REQUIREMENTS FOR ANNOTATIONS)
  4. Annotations should be 200-250 words.
  5. Each source of the literature list must be referenced in the text of the article.
  6. In all sources with a DOI index, it must be indicated.
  7. Electronic sources should be checked by the author for operability and described in an active reference format with mandatory indication of the date of use.
  8. Links to data from sites that do not constitute a separate material with the title, are made as page footnotes on the text of the article.
  9. Illustrations and tables should be submitted in accordance with editorial requirements.
  10. Formulas and variables should be entered according to technical requirements.

 

ANNOTATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. The annotations should reflect the most important elements of the article that show the level and quality of results obtained, including: relevance and novelty; methods used to solve the task; the results obtained; findings of the study; theoretical and practical relevance of the study.
  2. The annotation provides an opportunity to establish the main scientific content of the article, show its winning sides, draw attention to the research materials, determine its relevance and decide on a detailed study of the full article.
  3. When writing an annotation, it is recommended to use wording such as:
    The article is devoted to...; The article justifies...; The author draws attention to...; The judgment is given...; Noted that...

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR FIGURES AND TABLES

  1. The illustrations are executed in grey tones, because our edition is monochromatic.
  2. All entries within the drawing should be duplicated in English, including chart legends and chart axes.
  3. The reference to the source in a footnote or, if the source is included in the literature list, the position number of the list in square brackets.
  4. Requirement 3 also applies to previously published illustrations of the author of the article.
  5. Requirement 3 also applies to the tables.
  6. Drawings made using Word should be grouped and available for editing.
  7. Images made by external means - Visio, Excel etc. - please provide also in individual files format vsd, xls, etc.
  8. In individual files are also provided raster images - photos, scans, screenshots.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR FORMULAS AND VARIABLES

  1. You should not use the Word equation designer to type formulas and variables.
  2. Mathematical expressions that do not require special symbols, as well as individual variables are typed by a string editor (keyboard input) using the «Insert symbol» mode if necessary.
  3. Formulas that include specialized characters not contained on the keyboard and in the Word «Insert character» option are typed with external editors of Microsoft Equation or Math Type.
  4. An expression cannot be typed partially in the external formula editor, and partially by the line editor.
  5. Only formulas referenced in the text of the article are numbered.
  6. Greek and Russian letters as well as numbers and brackets are given in direct font, only Latin letters are used.
  7. Only structured objects are highlighted in bold type - vector symbols (if no vector icon is used), matrices, sets, corsets, etc. N.
  8. A dot is used as the multiplication sign.
  9. The mathematical signs are beaten with spaces.
  10. The fraction of the number is separated by a comma.

 

REFERENCES

  1. The DOI index, if available in the cited source, is mandatory (the author should check the availability of the DOI for each source).
  2. Please note that when specifying the number and range of pages in the literature list, according to GOST requirements, do not use a hyphen, but a median dash.
  3. References to electronic sources should be provided in active format, indicating the date of circulation.
  4. If the material from the Internet does not have a separate title, it is not included in the list of literature, and the reference to it is given by a footnote on the text of the article.
  5. The format of the reference to the sources according to the text of the article is the sequence number of the source according to the list in square brackets [ source].
  6. The sources in the literature list are arranged either alphabetically or by citation. In the alphabetical form, first Russian-language sources are indicated, then foreign. At the beginning of the list are listed laws and regulations.
  7. The order of sources in References should match the Russian literature list.
  8. Authors in References are not quoted.
  9. The following examples should also pay attention to the differences between the design of References and the literature in terms of the symbols and punctuation marks used.
  10. Translation of the name of the quoted work (in italics after F.I.O. of the authors) and its own translation into English in square brackets is given when the cited work does not have an officially published title in English.
  11. Accordingly, if the cited work has a published English title, then the Russian name does not need to be translated, the English title is indicated without square brackets. If the work is written in Russian, at the end of the source description (before DOI) there is a note in round brackets (in Russian).
  12. If the magazine or book publisher has a Russian name, then it is necessary to be quoted in italics of its transliteration. If the magazine also has an official English name (you must check this on the website of the magazine or publisher), it is shown in direct font after the transliteration of the Russian name separated by the sign of equality and without square brackets.
  13. If the Russian magazine or publishing house does not have an official English name, it is not necessary to translate it yourself - only the transliteration of the Russian name is indicated.
  14. For the Russian name of the publishing house in case n. 7 after transliteration the italics of the Russian name indicate the abbreviation Publ. in direct font.
  15. For textbooks, conference compilations and dissertations, the description of the type of source is given in italics and translated into English in plain text in square brackets.
  16. Please use www.translit.net for transliteration. On the site it is necessary to pre-select the option of transliteration «BSI» - British Institute of Standards.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.

  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).

  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.

  7. I have read and accepted the terms of the offer agreement (Acceptance of the Offer).

  8. I have read and accepted the terms of the Policy for processing and use of personal data.

Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a simple (non-exclusive) license that is free of charge, granted for the term of the exclusive right, and is valid worldwide. This license grants anyone the right to copy and distribute the material in any medium and in any format and to create derivative works, modify and transform the material, provided that the authorship is indicated as follows: author(s) (name(s) provided by the Publisher/Journal in the publication); title of the Article; title of the Journal; year and number (volume) of the publication.
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
  3. Authors have the right to post their work on the Internet (for example, in an institute repository or personal website) only after it has been posted on the official website of the journal (See Preprint and Postprint Policy).

Specified when registering the names and addresses will be used solely for technical purposes of a contact with the Author or reviewers (editors) when preparing the article for publication. Private data will not be shared with other individuals and organizations.
