Опираясь, в частности, на модель H-statistic для оценки конкурентной среды более 800 банков, на которые приходится 98% рынка. Эконометрический анализ показывает, что при значительном числе участников рынка, конкуренция в российском банковском секторе ниже, чем во всех остальных странах Центральной и Восточной Европы.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article provides the analysis of the Russian banking market competition through the modern nonratingbased approach to the research. In particular, the author uses the H-statistics model in order to assess the competitive environment of more than 800 banks which account for 98% of the market. Econometric analysis shows that when there are a considerable number of players on the market the Russian banking sector competition is less fierce than in Central and Eastern European countries.</p></trans-abstract></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title></ref-list><fn-group><fn fn-type="conflict"><p>The authors declare that there are no conflicts of interest present.</p></fn></fn-group></back></article>
