Modern sports are gradually becoming a business sector. Olympic Games, tournaments and championships are not just sporting events and spectacular shows, they are part of a business, to some extent. Sports management companies' staff members and volunteers who work there are engaged in solving such problems as arranging the sportsmen and their luggage transportation and hotel accommodation and servicing, premises leasing, stadiums checks to make them ready for use, making contacts with the media, state bodies and sponsors' representatives, ticket sales, placing the show advertisements, and other problems. The demand for qualified sports managers now is extremely high. The Russian universities began training the sports managers not long ago.
